The Pymble Uniting Church and the Gordon Uniting Church have taken the bold decision to become one congregation from 1 January, 2019.

This follows 4 years of joint activities, pulpit swaps and exploring the relationship between our 2 congregations. It is our intention that together, we can do new things for the sake of God’s mission in this area.

The two sites will continue to operate and worship will be held at both but there will be occasions when there is no service at one site owing to a combined service (the first Sunday in the month and ‘high days’ like Easter). Please check this website or the congregational news sheet to ensure you are not disappointed.

The general worship plan from 2 December, 2018 is:

1st Sunday of the month  9.30am combined Holy Communion service, rotating between Pymble and Gordon sites. (2 December is at Gordon; 6 January is at Pymble and so on.)

All other Sundays                                             9.00am   Pymble service

                                                                            10.30am  Gordon service

The Rev Steve Aynsley is the Minister in placement across both sites and continues to be supported by Courtney Heyden and Nicola Robinson as Family Workers and Natasha Radley in the Pymble office. Other staff will be appointed as our ministry goals are discerned.

Naturally, there is a great deal to be done administratively, and so please be patient with us. But together we are excited at the possibilities created by uniting together.
